Lillian Brown is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Theatre at Ripon College where she oversees the acting and directing curriculum. Lillian’s background includes extensive training in acting, movement, voicework, devising, solo performance, and staged intimacy. In 2021 she studied with Anne Bogart and SITI Company were she learned Suzuki and Viewpoints technique. In 2024 she received her diploma from TIE (Theatrical Intimacy Educators) while participating in their Educator Advocate Program.

In addition to being an educator, she is also a freelance, actor, intimacy director and solo performing artist. Her critically acclaimed solo show, The Oreo Complex, has received a Helen Hayes recommendation and many other positive reviews. It has been one of her greatest joys touring it across the country.

Some of her other recent acting credits include Red Hot Maisie Dawson in Jeeves Saves They Day, Mollie in The Mousetrap, Regine in Mud Row, Siobhan in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
